Oh, for goodness sakes, the #1 twist at the end of a movie has to go to Citizen Kane, hands down! And any list that says otherwise is not much of a list.

I think the ending of the Sixth Sense was a little too obvious if you really paid attention to the movie.

Unfortunately for my son, I had the Sixth Sense figured out very early. He had seen it before and hoped it would surprise me. I still thought the movie was excellent.

Yeah, when the wife dropped the wedding ring in "The Sixth Sense", I blurted out, "Oh my gosh HE'S the one whose dead!" and MOML said, "Oh thank goodness you figured that out, I was so confused!"
Same thing in "The Matrix"; my friend saw it and just did not get it. I had to explain that what looked real was the illusion and the reality was the people in the tanks. She had to go back and watch it again to figure out the story.
Some people just want to go and see a simple story and be easily entertained. I like a puzzle to figure out. We all like to relax and air out in our own ways.

I don't like a puzzle to figure out. When I figure it out, it usually ruins the ending. I like to sit back and be entertained while a good puzzle comes together before my eyes.

Not exactly the ending, but I saw the Matrix opening week in 1999 after seeing Larry Fishburn's trailer. I had no idea what to expect....But people living in cyberspace was not it. Still one of my favorite flicks of all time!
The Village and Unbreakable's ending were pretty good twists.
Also "No Way Out" with Kevin Costner...Although Ken Ober from remote control ruined the ending for me by blurting it out on TV before I saw it!
