NEWS: Bloody Toll in Spain

At least nine runners were gored in the 6th day of the bull run honoring the feast of San Fermin. The bull run was unusually dangerous, because at least one of the bulls stopped running and started targeting individual runners, onlookers said.

American counter-terrorism experts have suggested that the bulls are linked to an Al Qaeda cell in Spain, possibly radicalized by 'sleeper' cows on their rural farms. They further suggested that Pamplona was specifically targetted because it is an Opus Dei 'field site' for the Vatican.

Asked for a comment, the Vatican press secretary simply snorted in derision.
