CTR Confirmation

If there is a doubt as to whether a CTR was sent, what do you do?

Is there a way to confirm that it was received?

I'm assuming you do not e-file....? That would be the easiest method as every submission is confirmed. In our years of paper filing, we were just careful to keep copies, document the date filed and we were never questioned by the examiners.
