BSA Officer Title

Maybe this should be obvious, but... When I was hired as BSA officer in January, board approval wasn't received until the March meeting. I couldn't find anything in the reg about dates, only that BSAO must receive board approval. So for the weeks prior to approval, would there be an issue with me using the actual title? Ie. contact info on SARs,CTR approval, etc...

I don't think this would be an issue, but maybe it is.
I went "unappointed" for a few months when I first took this position as well. No one ever said anything.

Same for me. I was appointed BSAO in June 08 however it was not noted in the BOD minutes until January 09 when the all officer listing was approved for the year. Our auditors just asked if the appointment had been made yet. I gave her a copy of the minutes and nothing else was said.
