We have a customer who has been traveling abroad for quite some time and has now returned to the US. He brought in 25,000 in cash Pesos to deposit into his account. It converted to about $1300. Are we required to file a CTR? If so, do we only put the amount of the Pesos in box 26 or do we also use Box 25e and convert it to US Dollars?
