One of my regional compliance specialists has a sister in the hospital in Atlanta with ARDS. She asked that I put Starla on every prayer list I could think of. Starla lost her job and her health insurance. Didn't go to the doctor when she got the flu and instead developed pneumonia and now ARDS. She is in a medically induced coma and on a respirator. Please keep her in your prayers.

Starla is hanging in there and the doctors are trying to find the right antibodies to treat the lung inflammation. It is resistant to the antibodies they've tried so far. She is still on the ventilator and they are going to try the drugs first till Friday before they put in a chest tube. This isn’t something the doctor wants to do. All her vital signs are good. The family thanked everyone for their prayers. Please keep praying.

"They took Starla off the ventilator this morning and she is breathing on her own and my niece was just there and said she looked a lot better.
She cannot talk and still somewhat disoriented, but this seems to be an improvement.
We still need to pray for her lungs to clear up they are still congested. We don’t want them to have to put that tube back in again.

Starla was discharged from the Hospital this morning. She will live with her Dad while Home Health care puts her thru rehab. Thanks for all your prayers - please pray for continued healing and strength.
