11 yr old struck by lightning - 09/15/06 02:20 PM
My husband's 3rd cousin was struck by lightning Sunday afternoon. She's 11 yrs old. She was flown to La Bohner children's hospital later that day. Please remember this precious child and her family. Her internal organs were severly burnt and Wed. doctors reported that her brain was swelling. Yesterday doctors reported no brain activity. At this point she is still on life support. Please, please lift up this family as they face this horrific event in their lives.

That is so awful to hear. I was hit by lightning 12 years ago. Other than burns and extreme eye sensitivity, I had nothing that I couldn't recover from. I will pray for them. Thoughts and prayers are coming their way.

She passed away Sept 16th. Please continue to keep her family in your prayers.
