Middle man for foreign businesses

So we had this customer come in and ask if he could open 6 or 7 checking accounts with us. He says that he gets paid checks from foreign corporations that are running call centers and he is sort of the middle man for these corporations? The "potential" customer says that it is actually quite a simple and legitimate process and is surprised that we are leary of banking him. Anyone else run into any of these types of customers?

Ahhh, most banks like you run as fast as you can from these customers.

My first question is if he is so surprised why is he looking for a new bank?
