Where's George?

Is anyone familiar with this tracking system?

Question: customer comes in to get $100.00 in $1 bills. We oblige.

Customer returns the next day with the $100.00 in $1 bills.....but now they are all stamped with the "Where's George" logo and website. They'd like to exchange them for another $100.00 in $1 bills.

Can we refuse taking these bills, since they have been defaced or "altered"?

I thought WG was a thing of the past. I do see a bill from time to time, but have never had this scenario.

I don't want to find myself in a position where I am exchanging bills on a daily or weekly basis.

Just say no.

You are under no obligation to do any further exchanges and since you know that they defaced the bills, I would not accept them back for any purpose.

I would tell them that Banks are not obligated to participate in Games.
