Lender Tax ID for HMDA Submission - 01/21/16 03:02 PM
Weird question ------ We just noticed that the bank's Tax ID number is showing the 48 twice (48-48XXXXX). We have been filing with this number forever. We have called and emailed HMDA Tech over a week ago and have not heard back from them. So wondering why this would not have been an edit error in the past. Any suggestions?

You noticed it showing that way where? In your DES? If so, i'd fix it to show my actual tax ID number.

Maybe i don't understand your question....if you're asking what do you do about the past years where you filed with an inaccurate tax ID number, i think only the folks you're submitting to can answer that.
Email the regular HMDA Help email, not HMDA tech. I sent them a tax ID question last week and heard yesterday. They manage the entire process, including fixing numbers!
