Training for audit newbie

Hello all,

We have just hired someone to work in the audit department. She's got great potential, but has no background in auditing. We'd like to get her some training. Can anyone recommend any introductory internal audit training/schools?

ICBA has a great Audit program. It is a 2 week program. I believe they usually have a program in the spring and another one in the fall. You can find information about the program on ICBA's website.
