Remote Deposit Capture Audits

Good morning,

I was curious to know if your bank audits your Remote Deposit Capture customers - specifically does someone from your institution physically visit the site on a periodic basis. I'm meeting with our group this morning to discuss our audit plan. We only have 2 people in our Treasury Management area.

At our bank, IA does not make visits to our RDC customers. We review the sight visit checklist prepared by our Treasury Relationship personnel to determine if it was performed in accordance with policy.

Thank you osucpa - so your Treasury Relationship personnel physically go to the sites?

Yes they physically visit each site. Not sure of the visit frequency.

Skittles....we send an annual self assessment to our RDC customers that they must complete. If any answers on the self assessment are not correct, we will review and determine our course of action.
