Looking for help, please. How would you report the following scenario:
Single borrower applies to purchase home to be built & is approved via desktop underwriter, March 15.
After applying, borrower becomes engaged and fiance is added to loan, 9/20. Lender
didn't get application from fiance. But did rerun DU, and have final app signed by both.
Would you consider this one application, app date 3/15 or the first one approved/not accepted, report that on LAR. And then report 2nd joint app with application date of 9/20?
