There is an article in the April ABA Banking Journal that discusses Remote Deposit Capture. They also have an article in their digital magazine (visit their website) that specifically addresses some of the potential risks.
Also ... refer to the thread titled "Remote Deposit Audit" that was originally posted by "LivingLifeOneMomentAtATime" in this same forum about 10-15 lines down .......
