I'm starting to look in to Basel III to prep for Jan 2015. In the Basel rule, it talks about the risk rating for prudently underwritten mortgage loans.
Just need to confirm: this risk weighting is NOT related to the QRM rule, and that it only impacts our capital ratios. So the QRM has to do with our ALLL and is still out there, pending a final rule.
?? Am I understanding this correctly ??
