Credit Card Act just issued

Am I the only one overwhelmed with the 1155 pages just issued for the Credit Card Act??? Some of this is effective in just over a month (2/22/10) while some is delayed until 7/1/10. Have they lost their minds?

Has this been published in the FR yet? The 1155 from the FRB is a lot of paper to print.


Can anyone direct me to what section covers no change in rates for the first year? Is this strictly for credit cards and not all open-end credit?

I doubt it's in the FR yet. It took about 3 weeks for the Risk-Based Pricing Regs to show up. With a February deadline, we don't have kind of time to wait.

I have found that a helpful chart on pages 22 and 23, and the "meat" of it starts on page 538.
