Billing Errors

For residential mortgage loans (not HELOC) where do I find what is required to be on the monthly statement, including any billing error notices.

The requirement for monthly billings on residential closed-end loans is part of the FDA and the regulations have not been promulgated at this point (unless your State law requires them).

I believe Randy is referring to the Frank-Dodd Act (FDA). Some refer to it in reverse as the Dodd-Frank Act.
