HUD's Homeownership Counseling notice - 02/17/17 05:23 PM

Can someone PLEASE provide me a link to the rules for the Homeownership Counseling notice required by §106(c)(5). For the life of me I can't find §106(c)(5).

Dan, I think they are referring to the past due notice requirements. Go here and click on the link to the law:

Would anyone happen to know where to find what the penalties are for violation of this particular requirement? I'm not finding that it's specifically stated in §106(c)(5) of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968 (12 USC 1701x(c)(5)). Thank you.

Any violation of law carries the possibility of FIRREA penalties. I am not sure why people focus on specific citations for these?

I was able to find FIRREA but didn't know if there would have been anything else specific as there are in other regulations. Thank you for your help and confirmation.
