Tax Liens/Civil Judgments not on Credit Reports - 06/21/17 05:13 PM
Tax Lien Judgments no longer on Credit Reports This is the first I have heard of this. Have there been any discussions about it? My search doesn't turn up anything.

Got something from Fannie Mae about their expectations. If you sell to them, you may want to check out their news feed. Lender Letter LL-2017-02
Also, google "National Consumer Assistance Plan," to see changes coming for next year.

Not hearing a lot about this yet. I have seen that American Banker, sponsored by LexisNexis, is having a webinar about this on June 28th for which I've registered.

some will still appear on the reports. Only those where they can't verify 3 of 4 data points (consumer name/address/SSN/ DOB) will be removed.

This made the news months ago when it was announced. While I don't disagree with the reasoning, it seems it can open credit to some unworthy applicants. I could be wrong but I don't think it'll be a huge problem, but I believe there will be isolated cases of abuse.

I guess I am confused as to how this is going to lead to "abuse"?
