HUD phone call

Has anyone else received a call from HUD asking if you do any subprime or manufactured home lending?

I just did but have never had this to happen before. The message said that he got my name from the HMDA contact.

We have never received such a call and I'd be leary of this. Why would HUD be calling about your lending practices?

I suggest contacting HUD and inquire if this is a standared practice.

Good idea. I have not called them back yet.

I agree. Someone may be looking for a testing target.
