FEMA Notices to tenants?

FEMA Notices to tenants? - 04/24/15 12:17 PM

I just thought this was interesting. My daughter lives in New York City. She rents. She received a letter from FEMA personally addressed to her advising that her building is now in a flood zone and she should get insurance. We wondered how FEMA obtained her name...were property owners asked for tenant lists? Did they cross reference with other government records? eek

Unless she is wearing a tin foil hat, the US Gov'mint knows exactly where we are at all times. Geez - I thought everyone knew that smile

She is my daughter; she might have a tin foil hat. We all know that the government knows where we are, but it is creepy when they share that across agencies...at least FEMA knows where to go to save her in a flood!
