Mortgage Call Report - 02/07/11 07:59 PM
I am not the one who does our Call Report (thank the Lord!), but the person that does is asking me a lot of questions about it. I really don't see a whole lot out there about it. Maybe I am just looking in the wrong places?
Does anyone have any information?
The FDIC has a tremendous amount of instructional material on the call report. Don't overlook the Glossary, it has many nuggets of wisdom.

The NMLS Mortgage Call Report is a quarterly report of mortgage activity and company information created by state regulators and administered electronically through NMLS. The NMLS Mortgage Call Report is intended to be completed by all state-licensed companies and all state-registered companies that employ licensed mortgage loan originators. If you have specific questions about its applicability to your company contact your state regulator.
You are right. It was too early for me to think!

Okay....so as an agency-regulated financial institution, we do not employ licensed mortgage loan originators....we just have registered mortgage loan originators, so it looks like this new Mortgage Call Report is not applicable to us.
