Does anyone know how we would report credit score and credit score model when Fannie Mae implements calculating average median credit scores?

My best guess is we will report the average median score used by DU and then report the code for multiple credit models used. The challenge we see is that the credit report would no longer be our source document for credit score and model but we would need to review DU to report and validate the credit score and model used in the credit decision.

Was just evaluating this as well and not looking forward to the change from HMDA perspective (although may help applicants with scores under the 620). We have programming built to capture the right credit score and credit score model. This will definitely impact that programming. Now we will be looking at product, AUS, number of borrowers, whether there is multiple financed properties (if yes FNMA says based on previous requirements), whether manual underwriting, etc.

Does anyone think this would not impact their HMDA reporting? My view is it does but thought I'd check if anyone has a different thought.

Has anyone been able to find the median credit score on the DU report? I have reviewed 2 DU reports (joint application) run since the change and can only find the 3 credit scores (for each applicant) from the credit report listed. This is making me think there is no impact to HMDA reporting of the credit scores. Anyone have any thoughts?
