Jeff Patterson combines a unique blend of technical expertise, operational capabilities, risk management experience, and security awareness in a dynamic hands-on approach to information technology and operations. Jeff has architected, designed and programmed applications for match making, alien resident tracking, inventory management, sales order processing, customer relationship management, document preparation and management, compliance oversight, content management, access control, Bank Secrecy Act compliance, and teller transaction processing. He maintains detailed security knowledge and educates others about cybersecurity across financial services and their small and medium business customers.

Jeff currently serves as Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at ANB Bank. He leads the information technology, information security, deposit operations, payments, BSA, deposit loss prevention, marketing, treasury management customer support, the call center and branch operations functions.

Before ANB Bank, Jeff was Senior Vice President at MidFrist Bank where he led deposit operations, payments, debit cards, ACH processing, deposit loss prevention, reconciliations, statement and notice printing, remittance processing, treasury management customer support and core and platform technology systems. Before taking over this role he served as a Vice President over the institution’s help desk and the technical and application support groups where he was responsible for approximately 2,000 users, over 2,500 personal computers and workstations, nearly a hundred business applications along with the core and platform technology systems.

Prior to this, Jeff served as Vice President of Customer Care and Development and Managing Systems Architect for American Bank Systems, Inc. where he led the development efforts of the ABS suite of products, oversaw the customer support functions and was responsible for designing, administering and maintaining the technology infrastructure.

Jeff co-founded his first software development company in 1984 and has since started or participated in the creation of five technology companies. He has presented classes on secure application development, database design, database administration and risk management.
