I have always operated under an assumption that a loan participation purchased by a bank, where the underlying loan becomes classified subsequent to the purchase, cannot be put or sold back to the originating bank by law or regulatory rule. Am I correct? If so where can I find this information?

I know if we get a flood determination letter, the fee is not a prepaid finance charge, but I thought that if we got the one called Life of Loan determination, then it was prepaid. Is this correct or not?

If we have a loan in a corporation name and it is HMDA reportable, should we use Fannie Mae Form 1003 for the application or should we be using a different application?

We are a national bank and our legal lending limit (LLL) went down. If a borrower who was previously under our LLL and now is over has a line of credit (LOC), can we advance funds over our LLL to the max LOC amount we had originally set on the note? When the LOC was made, the borrower was under our LLL.

If the only term you are changing on a Commercial Revolving Line of Credit is the maturity date, can this be accomplished with just a modification agreement, or is a new note, mortgage, security agreement, etc. required?
