We are an FDIC regulated bank. If we post a picture on social media of customers that have just closed on a home loan, and we are congratulating them, is it necessary to include the EHL symbol or can we just have the EHL words included in the post?

On an advertisement for credit cards and nonmortgage lending, should Equal Opportunity Lender notification be included or only on mortgage related loan advertisements? I understand Equal Housing Lender should be present on anything pertaining to loans using homes as collateral.

We don't make owner occupied mortgages, but do make business purpose loans for rental properties. Do we need to continue using the Equal Housing Lender logo in advertising?

Our bank offers commercial mortgages as well as mixed use and multi-family lending. Do we need to include Equal Housing Lender and dog house on our advertising and marketing materials for any of these products?

In order to comply with Fair Housing Lender requirements, is the lender required to include the Equal Housing Logo on the Adverse Action Notice form?

We qualify loan applicants based on gross income. Our credit officer says that tax free income from SSI or VA Disability is the gross income and shouldn't be grossed up. I say the income is net and should be. Who's right? If we don't gross tax SSI up, are we discriminating?

Is it necessary under fair housing to disclose assets/net worth? The question has been raised that we must input all customer asset information on HELOC applications to give an accurate net worth for fair housing. Any lender I have ever worked with has never done this.
