We have a customer who asks for random people's help by having them issue checks to him and he provides them cash (more than the amount on check) in return. For us, it's suspicious but don't know what is the best reason to put in the SAR?
How are lines of credit that do not revolve treated; are they open-end or closed-end?
We have a borrower who will be out of state on the closing day of their purchase money mortgage. Are there any issues with having the borrowers pre-sign the closing documents? (For example, the closing is on 10/01 and all the docs are dated 10/01, but the docs are signed and notarized 09/27.)
Disparate treatment is still illegal but didn't the Supreme Court overrule disparate impact cases?
Our commercial applicant submitted an application and we issued a (expression of interest) EOI / Term sheet. The loan officer is in communication with them and is asking for items we require to underwrite the loan. It is taking more than 60 days to receive all the items. They are coming in piece by piece. When are we required to send a notice of incompleteness? I was understanding that an NOIA would not be required since the application is still not complete and we are working with the applicant, but others are saying it should be sent now.
