Can We Repair a Credit Record?

I have a very irate customer who is upset that he has a bad credit report because he was a co-signer and/or co-maker on 5 separate loans. While he did not come in and keep the loans current when getting his past-due notices, he did eventually pay all of these loans off (some after they had to be charged off). Can I clear up his credit report for him?

I would like to modify my client's defaulted loans with the lender, perhaps by getting the lender to add the arrears amount and assessed fees to the back of the mortgage contract. Is there certain documentation needed for this request, or how can I competently make this request?

On residential loans our bank does not use a customer's credit score in the credit determination, however, the credit score is on the credit reports that we receive. Are we required to provide the customer the credit score notice required by the FACT Act?
