I have a question regarding application of NAICS codes on our bank's internal GL. I understand that NAICS codes apply to businesses and not
individuals unless they are a sole proprietorship. If the individual is a real estate investor purchasing 1-4 SFR for investment/lease, does the NAICS
code #531110 apply? If so, does it apply if real estate investing is their secondary occupation?
On an ag/commercial loan, if there are two borrowers, do both need to sign an extension agreement or can just one of them sign and extend a loan?

In regards to Reg B appraisal notices and commercial loans: does the loan need to be secured by a first lien on a dwelling for the notice requirements to apply or is it any dwelling secured loan - regardless of lien position? For example, an LLC is securing a commercial loan with a 2nd lien on a dwelling, do they get the appraisal notice or not?
Our commercial lending area is using the website to advertise their products. As commercial lenders, they maintain they are not held to the same requirements as our home mortgage lenders. One example is the Equal Housing Lender logo. It isn't on the web page and we believe it should be in order to be in compliance. Who is right?
This question is about placing an ad in the newspaper for commercial lending. I assume we don't need to have the FDIC logo in the advertisement, but do we need to state that we are an equal credit opportunity lender? Is there a requirement that says we must state that we do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, etc.? We thought we would include it anyway, but we are having trouble finding where it specifically states that for commercial lending advertising.
