The FDIC has issued an Order to Pay a civil money penalty of $12,.416 under section 102(f)(1) of the Flood Disaster Protection Act of 1973, having determined that the bank has engaged in a pattern or practice of committing violatons of the FDPA and/or the notice requirements under section 1364 of the National Flood Protection Act of 1968. The FDIC found that the bank failed to obtain flood insurance at origination in two instances, and failed to obtain or maintain adequate flood insurance in 11 instances. The FDIC also found that the bank violated section 339.7(c) of the FDIC's Rules and Regulations (12 CFR 339.7) by failing to properly force place flood insurance in nine instances.
