Former bank VP pays money penalty and is prohibited

Kevin L. Tudhope, a former vice president and mortgage loan officer of River Bank & Trust, Prattville, Alabama, received an FDIC consent order of prohibition from participation and order to pay a $35,000 civil money penalty on January 5, 2023, after a determination, which Tudhope neither admits nor denies, that he, between January 2018 and July 31, 2018:

• Submitted loan production reports containing false information relating to 14 borrowers, loan amounts, and closing dates
• Received commission payments from the bank based on false information contained in the production reports
• Knew the production reports submitted to the bank contained false information and that he was not entitled to the commission payments
