Acceptable Proof of Hazard Insurance

Answered by:

Question:
What is acceptable proof of hazard insurance?
Answer:

There is not a regulatory definition of acceptable proof of hazard insurance, so it would really be up to the institution to decide what it will accept. You could extrapolate from some of the guidance on the flood insurance front where a cancelled check/receipt for payment of premiums and an insurance binder work as acceptable proof.
