Avoid hostage-taking

Answered by:

We have been trained to comply with the robber’s demands. What if he wants to take an employee as a hostage?

Thankfully, this does not happen very often. Most robbers want to get in, get money, and get out as quickly as possible. And we want to assist them in any way we can. However, in this scenario, my recommendation would be to resist going anywhere with the robber. Always remember: if a criminal wants to take you to a secondary location, your chances of survival are greatly reduced.
