Backer Info Required on Archived Loan Statements?

Answered by:

Question:
Is it a requirement that all archived loan statements have the "backer" information on it meaning the Reg E language, bank logo, copy of paid checks, etc...?
Answer:

No. Ideally, you would not have Regulation E info on loan statements.

If you meant to ask about deposit account statements, the "backer" info isn't needed on archived copies as long as you can document that it's provided on written statements provided to consumers.
