Banks Releasing Statements to Business Accounts

Company A bought all of Company B including the stock in February 2016, they are requesting statements for Company B's accounts for December 2015 and January 2016. Can they receive them from the bank?
Answer: 

Based on your description, Company A is successor to Company B, having bought it out. It acquired the rights that Company B had prior to the takeover. Yes, they can have the statements.
