Business Man deposits a large check

A local business owner posted this on a social media website. “ As a business account I was told by the teller not to come in just before closing as the teller had too much to do at closing time.” What should we do now?

Staff should be instructed to take such problems to management before addressing the account holder. Now you should contact the business directly to apologize for a miscommunication. See if you could work out a way to handle the problem so staff won’t feel rushed. We would also address this situation with your teller to be sure they understand this could have resulted in the business closing the account or more damage to your public image.
