Can I change the bank’s assessment area?

Question:
Can the bank adjust an assessment area once it has been set?
Answer:

Yes, a bank may adjust the boundaries of its assessment area(s) to include only the portion of an area that it reasonably expects to serve; however, there are limitations on what is included in the assessment area. For example, an assessment area can only consist of whole geographies.
