Can a Joint Account Have a POD?

Question:
Can a joint account have a POD?
Answer:

by Randy Carey:

It will all depend on State law, but in most States there would be no prohibition. On a joint account with the right of survivorship, the money would pass to the joint account holder in the event of the death of one of them and would only pass to the POD if both joint account holders were deceased.

Answer:

by Ken Golliher:

...and on a joint account without a right of survivorship, it would make no sense.
