Cashing Check Larger than What is in Vault

Is a bank obligated to give cash for a check, not just negotiate a check, if the amount (about $200,000.00) is larger than the amount of cash the bank normally carries in the vault.
Answer: 

You are under no direct obligation to provide that much cash.
