CD Issue Date

Answered by:

Question:
Do you have to revise the issue date of the Final CD to match the CD date if nothing has changed from the Initial CD issue?
Answer:

No final CD is required if nothing has changed from the original CD. If you wish to provide a CD at closing just provide another copy of the initial CD. If anything has changed from the previous CD then provide a new CD that includes, among other items, a revised Date Issued. Keep in mind that if the APR becomes inaccurate, the loan product changes or if a prepayment penalty is added a new three-day waiting period is required.
