Closing Accts. Due to AML, Legal or Adverse Media

Answered by:

Question:
Was wondering if bankers can provide examples of what is allowed to be provided to their customers when they close accounts due to AML, Legal or Adverse Media concerns.
Answer:

Not really sure what you mean by allowed to provide. You send them a letter and tell them you closed the account per your depositor's agreement. You are under no obligation to tell them why.
