Closing costs expiration date on the LE

Question:
We sent our initial Loan Estimate and the consumer has given us her intent to proceed. We’re now executing a rate lock agreement with her, and we need to send a revised Loan Estimate to show the cost of the agreement and the expiration date of that agreement. Do we have to update the date on which the estimated closing costs will expire, or do we use the same date we used before?
Answer:

Once the consumer indicates an intent to proceed, you leave the date and time at which estimated closing costs expire blank on any subsequent revised Loan Estimate.
