Agreed; that is the best resource for every regulation covered in compliance examinations. There are others.
What the compliance officer is responsible for knowing varies from one bank to the next. A compliance officer called me with a UCC question on checks. I asked, "What in the devil does this have to do with you?" He said, "In this bank, every question that no one knows the answer to is considered a 'compliance' question." That is a common interpretation.
