Content in a Document Imaging Policy

Question:
What should be included in a document imaging policy?
Answer:

Document imaging policies vary from bank to bank; however, at a minimum, a well-crafted imaging policy provides clarity about: retention of hard copy documents, retention periods of source documents, quality control processes, "critical" documents, and who can scan documents.
