Credit Report-Allowed to Give Copy to Borrower?

Answered by:

Question:
When the bank pulls a credit bureau report for a loan application, is the bank allowed to give a copy of the report to the borrower?
Answer:

Check your contract with the credit bureau. While there is not a regulatory prohibition against sharing the credit bureau report with the individual on whom it was pulled, there may be contractual prohibitions.
