Debit Card Dispute Documentation

Question: 
Can we require a copy of a customer’s receipt to proceed with a debit card claim if the customer is disputing the amount of a charge?
Answer: 

No. We can request documentation from the customer to aid in our investigation, but we cannot deny the claim solely on the basis of the failure to provide it.
