Disclosures for Co-Signer on Consumer Purpose

Answered by:

Question:
On a consumer purpose loan secured by the borrowers' home, is it required to give a co-signer (not an owner of the home) the Servicing Disclosure, and the Credit Score Disclosure?
Answer:

The cosigner is a borrower. Therefore, they need to receive all disclosures (other than the Right of Rescission). None of the other real estate disclosures require the borrower to also be an owner of the home.
