Does Electronic Document Management Impact Customer Service?

Does an imaging system help or hurt customer service efforts?
Answer: 

A paper document or loan file can only be at one location at a time. With a paper-based loan management system it often means that when a customer approaches a loan officer at a branch with a question, the file cannot be accessed. Thus, moving to an e-system can actually supplement an effective customer service strategy.
