Would you say a bachelor's degree would be a minimum requirement for one seeking a position as a compliance officer?

Answer:

Not necessarily. The skillset for a compliance professional may include a background in operations and/or lending. A CRCM designation is also an indicator of a professional skillset. Certainly a degree brings assets to the table, but they are not a requirement, in my opinion.
