Can a lender purposely not get one of the six TRID items to avoid getting an application in order to delay the loan estimate delivery date?

Answer:

Unfortunately " purposely not get one of the six TRID items" is a frequent practice. Some lenders cheat in order to get more time to deliver the LE. If examiners become aware of the practice they will likely cite both a TRID violation and a UDAP violation.
